The agency was founded in 1917 in Ida, Michigan by Harrison Dental and operated as Dental/Knapp Agency until 1970 when the agency was purchased by William and Marge Knabusch. At that time the name was changed to Knabusch Insurance Services Inc. and operates as one of the oldest agencies in Monroe County. Marge and Robert Knabusch took over the agency in 1984 when William passed away. Marge continued operating the agency as the President until the Summer of 2006 when she retired from the agency, turning the controls over to Robert as the new President. It is our commitment to meet the needs of individuals and businesses for Personal, Commercial and Employee Benefits Insurance in the Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio area.
